About SIMS
Accreditation, Standards and Recognition
The external standards our clinical and laboratory processes are aligned to, and the insurers we work with.
Accreditation matters to patients for a specific reason: it means an outside body has examined how the hospital actually works — its protocols, its records, its infection rates, its consent process — rather than taking the hospital's word for it.
The standards below shape our internal audit programme.
Standards and recognition
NABH standards
Hospital quality and patient safety processes are structured around National Accreditation Board for Hospitals standards covering access, assessment, care, infection control, patient rights and facility management.
NABL-aligned laboratory practice
Laboratory processes follow National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories practice for sample handling, internal quality control and external quality assurance.
Insurance and TPA network
Cashless facility with major insurers and third-party administrators, subject to policy terms and pre-authorisation.
Biomedical waste authorisation
Waste segregation, storage and disposal through an authorised common biomedical waste treatment facility.
Insurance cover and the list of covered procedures depend on your policy. Always confirm cashless eligibility with the insurance desk before or at the time of admission.
Not sure which department you need?
Share your symptoms and the appointment desk will route you to the right consultant. For anything sudden or severe, do not wait for a callback — come to the emergency department.
