Health Check Packages in Anantapur
Most of what shortens life in this district arrives without symptoms — diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney disease and fatty liver are all silent until they are advanced. A single morning of testing is usually enough to find them while they can still be reversed.
Why get checked
The conditions worth screening for are the ones you cannot feel
Nobody books a health check because of how they feel today. The point of screening is precisely that these four conditions cause no symptoms at all until damage has already been done.
Diabetes gives no early warning
Blood sugar can stay high for years without thirst, weight loss or tiredness. By the time symptoms appear, the kidneys, eyes and nerves have often already been affected. A fasting sugar and an HbA1c settle the question in one morning.
High blood pressure is felt by nobody
Raised blood pressure does not cause headaches in most people. It is found on a cuff, not by how you feel — and it is the single most treatable risk factor behind stroke, heart failure and kidney damage.
Kidney function falls quietly
The kidneys keep working normally until a large share of their capacity is lost, so creatinine and urine protein change long before swelling or reduced urine appear. Found early, the decline can often be slowed considerably.
Fatty liver rarely announces itself
Fat accumulating in the liver causes no pain and no jaundice in its early stages. It shows up on an ultrasound and in liver enzymes — at a point when diet, weight and sugar control can still reverse it.

- Fasting packages require 8–12 hours without food. Plain water is allowed and regular medicines should be taken unless your doctor has advised otherwise.
- Reports for most tests are issued the same day. Cultures and histopathology take longer and are explained at the time of collection.
- A doctor consultation is included in every package — please do not collect reports without it, since an abnormal value in isolation is easy to misread.
- Package contents and prices are indicative and reviewed periodically. Confirm the current rate at the health-check desk before payment.
- Health check packages are usually not covered by insurance, as insurance policies generally cover illness rather than screening.

Book your health check
Pick a package and a date, and the health-check desk will call you back to confirm the slot and tell you exactly how many hours to fast beforehand.
A health check is not the place for a new, severe or sudden symptom. If you have chest pain, breathlessness, weakness on one side or heavy bleeding, go to the emergency department instead.
FAQ
Questions about health checks
Fasting rules, report timing, insurance cover and how to choose between the packages.
What exactly does fasting mean before a health check?
It means eight to twelve hours without food before the blood sample is taken. Plain water is allowed and should be encouraged — dehydration makes the sample harder to draw. Take your regular medicines as usual unless your doctor has specifically told you to hold one, and do not stop blood pressure, thyroid, heart or epilepsy tablets to prepare for a test.
How long do the reports take?
Most laboratory and imaging reports in these packages are issued the same day, which is why the packages are timed to finish in a morning. Cultures and histopathology take longer by their nature — anything with a longer turnaround is explained at the time your sample is collected, so you know when to come back.
Does insurance cover a health check package?
Generally it does not. Insurance policies are written to cover illness and hospitalisation rather than screening in a person who is well, so preventive health checks are usually paid for directly. A few corporate policies include an annual check as a benefit — if yours might, ask your employer or insurer before you book, not afterwards.
Is the doctor consultation included, or charged separately?
It is included in every package, and it is not an optional extra. An abnormal value read in isolation causes a great deal of unnecessary alarm, and a normal-looking report can still hide a pattern that matters. Please do not collect your reports without sitting with the doctor who reviews them.
Can a company or a group book these packages together?
Yes. Group and corporate rates are available for organisations screening staff annually, and the pre-employment package is issued with a signed medical fitness certificate. Mention the number of people on the booking form and the health-check desk will confirm the rate and schedule the group across manageable slots.
Which package should I choose?
If this is your first check and you have no known illness, start with the Basic Health Check. From your thirties onward, the Comprehensive package is the sensible annual choice. Choose the Cardiac package if heart disease runs in your family or you smoke, the Diabetes package if you already have diabetes, and the Senior Citizen package after sixty. If you are unsure, select “Not sure — please advise” on the form and describe your history.
